At DFS, we provide technical services to a wide range of clients, with a focus on conducting public sector developer fee studies. Our aim is to assist districts in levying fees, by reporting on the changing need for new facilities resulting from new development, as well as the national trend to address the housing crisis.
Our team identifies and documents the expected growth in population of students that will be generated by residential, commercial, and industrial development. We help demonstrate that the fees to be collected from development will not exceed the cost of providing school facilities for the students to be generated from the development.
Our reports establish the connection between development and the need for new and/or modernized facilities.
